Malorees: Community & PSFA

Malorees Parents, Staff & Friends Association (PSFA)

Welcome!

The Malorees Parents, Staff & Friends Association (PSFA) is our school’s community organisation working together to support Malorees children socially, academically and financially.

We organise fun events, raise vital funds, and bring families together. Every parent and carer automatically becomes a member of the PSFA when their child joins Malorees — and everyone is welcome to get involved!

What We Do

The PSFA helps make Malorees an even better place for children!

  • Events & Community — We organise the Summer Fair, Winter Market, quiz nights, adult fitness events (triathlon & 10K), and more.
  • Fundraising & Projects — We raise money to provide extra books, IT equipment, outdoor learning resources, and playground improvements.
  • Volunteering & Support — We bring parents and carers together to share skills, time and ideas that benefit the school.

Our Impact

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’ve funded:

  • School mini bus
  • New library books for every year group
  • Outdoor play equipment and forest school resources
  • Support digital learning through iPad and 3D printer
  • Special workshops, trips and enrichment opportunities

Every pound we raise goes directly back into supporting Malorees children.

How You Can Get Involved

There are lots of ways to help — big or small:

  • Volunteer at an event: bake a dish, staff a stall, opportunities abound
  • Join the committee or take on a one-off role
  • Donate to support our fundraising efforts
  • Share your skills. We can always use help with design, admin, sponsorship, and event planning
  • Spread the word by following us on Instagram and sharing with other parents

PSFA Committee 2024/25

Feedback

The PSFA is gathering ideas and opinions on how future PSFA funds could be spent, and we’d really value your input.

What priorities or ideas would you like the PSFA to consider for the use of these funds, either in the near future or once the building works are complete?

Please feel free to be ambitious —we’re keen to hear a wide range of ideas , from small, quick wins to larger, longer-term projects . All suggestions are welcome and will be reviewed for further discussion and shortlisting.

If your idea is evidence- or expert-based , please include a brief reference or explanation.
The more specific you can be (e.g. type of equipment, activity, or project), the more helpful it will be.

Thank you for taking the time to contribute. If you have any questions, just let us know.

Submit your ideas here: https://forms.gle/qQZzpjisnkNXgTda6

Thank you!

Every bit of support — whether it’s time, money, or simply turning up to an event — makes a huge difference. Together, we make Malorees the best it can be for our children.
